About MacWaves MUG

Who We Are:

We focus on people who use Macintoshes, the Mac OS and related products. We provide a forum for Macintosh computer users of all levels to expand and share their knowledge. Anyone using a Mac OS based computer is welcome to attend. Whether you are searching for knowledge about new programs or hardware, looking for tips, or have questions about your problems, you can probably find it at our meetings. We also have a FUNdamentals meeting on the 1st Wednesday of the month for Mac beginners. We cover various versions of the Macintosh OS (Operating System) including Mac OS X (which is pronounced TEN as in the Roman numeral X).

Who Should Attend:

Anyone using a Mac OS based computer whether it be an Apple Macintosh, Umax SuperMac, Power Computing, Motorola StarMax, MacTell, or PowerTools computers should attend. Whether you are searching for knowledge about new programs or hardware, looking for tips, or have questions about your problems, you can probably find it at our meetings.

How to Join:

Anyone can come to our meetings for free, but to get the added benefits such as the MacWaves CD (available a couple of times per year) and limited phone support, please join our sponsoring group - Brookdale Computer Users Group (BCUG), their dues are as follows:

$25.00 per year

$20.00 (age 62 and over & not working)
